Hard Rock Hotel Malta

Located in the vibrant St. George’s Bay, St. Julian’s, Hard Rock Hotel Malta marks the debut of the iconic brand on the island. The 5-star resort will feature 394 rooms and suites, including 25 luxury suites with private pools, nearly all offering sea-view balconies overlooking the Mediterranean. The design respects and preserves the heritage of the original 19th-century British military accommodation quarters, blending Malta’s history with modern resort luxury.

Mercury Towers

Designed by the late world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid, Mercury Towers stands as one of Malta’s most iconic mixed-use developments. Rising prominently in St. Julian’s, the project features a striking 31-storey residential tower, a restored heritage building, a vibrant retail and entertainment plaza, and a five-star hotel — all seamlessly integrated into a modern urban destination.

The development combines high-end residences with boutique retail outlets, dining experiences, leisure areas, public spaces, and premium hospitality. Its dynamic design, defined by fluid architectural lines and a dramatic mid-tower twist, has made Mercury Towers a visual landmark and a symbol of Malta’s evolving skyline.

Our involvement commenced by the supply and lay of all the brickwork (lightweight / AAC bricks) and thereafter entrusted with all the supply of allwaterproofing solutions, all the floor screed tilework, plastering and paintwork and also with part of the gypsum (drywall) work engineered to meet the project’s demanding architectural and structural criteria.

the Quad Central

Located in Mriehel — at the geographic centre of the island — The Quad Central is a landmark mixed-use development combining Grade-A office, retail, and commercial space within four interlinked towers arranged around a landscaped public piazza. Spanning over 44,000 m² of premium commercial floor space, the project features towers rising between 13 and 19 storeys, providing state-of-the-art offices, retail outlets, hospitality zones, open-air landscaped areas, and extensive underground parking for more than 1,400 vehicles.

The Quad is also a certified LEED Platinum development, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency, and modern building standards.

Campus Hub

Campus Hub Malta is a next-generation mixed-use development designed to bring student accommodation, retail, dining, and social spaces together in one central hub. Located beside the University of Malta, it offers fully serviced residences built to international standards, complete with modern amenities, study lounges, high-speed connectivity, and 24/7 security. The development is complemented by a vibrant commercial village featuring cafés, restaurants, wellness outlets, and essential services, creating a self-contained environment where convenience meets comfort.

St. Vincent De Paul Residence

St. Vincent De Paul Residence is Malta’s largest elderly care complex and is currently undergoing a multi-phase modernisation programme aimed at improving resident comfort, accessibility, and clinical support. Recent upgrades include the refurbishment of several halls with brighter layouts, improved ventilation, private bathrooms, new flooring, updated utilities, and more functional living spaces designed to enhance safety and dignity for residents. The introduction of an on-site CT scanner has further strengthened the facility’s medical capabilities, reducing the need for hospital transfers and improving overall care efficiency.

Long-term plans also include new residential blocks, enhanced communal areas, and improved outdoor spaces to meet rising demand and align the campus with modern care standards. These investments reflect a national effort to create a more holistic and supportive environment for elderly residents, bringing together residential, medical, and rehabilitative services within one integrated setting.

MBM supported the refurbishment of St. Vincent De Paul Residence by delivering brickwork. Our team operated within active care environments, ensuring safety, coordination, and minimal disruption. The result is cleaner, brighter, and more functional spaces that align with the facility’s wider modernisation goals and enhance overall comfort for residents and staff.

Aste Hotel

With a range of room types, from economy to sea-view and family rooms, ASTE caters to travellers seeking flexibility, convenience, and a fresh, contemporary stay.

MBM delivered a range of finishing and interior fit-out works across guest rooms and common areas within Aste Hotel.

Paola Healthcare Centre

The Paola Healthcare Centre, now known as the Vincent Moran Regional Healthcare Hub, is a modern LEED-certified facility designed to serve as a major medical point for Malta’s southern region. Built to function as a mini-hospital, it includes emergency ambulance services, extensive outpatient clinics, diagnostic spaces, physiotherapy and specialist care areas, day-surgery facilities, and a 250-car parking area. Since opening, it has replaced the older Paola Health Centre and now provides a broader range of services with greater capacity, supporting an estimated 100,000 patients annually and easing pressure on national hospitals.

MBM supported the development of the Paola Healthcare Centre through a range of construction and finishing works carried out across key internal and structural areas of the facility. Our team focused on delivering durable, precise, and healthcare-grade finishes, ensuring that all installations met the quality, safety, and functionality standards required for a modern medical environment.
